Hands-On English, Inc. is a ESL continuing education company for the International Professional. We offer a variety of options for each client. Beginner, pre-intermediate, intermediate, advanced and expert. With Hands-on English, all english language needs are met. Flexibility with emphasis on the individual needs of students are vital to any improvement in English Training. Our policy is to adapt our services to the needs of the client rather than to impose a one-size-fits-all method. Consequently, any methods can be changed or replaced to suit the client's requirements. In addition to teaching fundamentals of grammar, reading, writing, Conversation is emphasized. Realizing that memorizing is not communicating and that English is a continually growing language.... Practical, interesting and active approach to learning a language !
Two Week IMMERSION ENGLISH COURSES
“L’anglais sur le terrain” is a concept in improving the Business English level of The International Business Professional. Combining Travel to English speaking countries with English immersion classes geared to the specific needs of the professional. Focus on accent re-education, role playing, english task mastering, cultural and business interactions, vocabulary development.
An intensive two week long immersion course held in english speaking countries ( United States, England ) Individualized to meet the specific needs and requirements of each student. Depending on type of work and career goals. This year’s English immersion programs are offered in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC et Londres (UK). The cities rotate depending on the planning, additional cites will be added.
Intensive courses will include hands-on observations of various American/British companies work habits and interaction in the visited country. Giving the week classes Business enhancement possibilities, networking and english speaking cultural exchange. European - American Groups and organizations will be featured in the courses. However, the objective is to improve the English skills of each professional, incorporated into each class.
Classes are limited to ten per course. Classes held monday thru friday including daily trips focused on “hands on” conversations and problem solving. Afternoon trips will include visiting various companies including FedEx, AT&T, ......)
Students are free to explore the city after class and during the weekend. Students will be escorted by professor to and from destination. Classes are limited to pre-intermediate and above students.
INDIVIDUAL/GROUP COURSES
English courses focused on basic english principles with emphasis on vocabulary. Courses include Grammar book for each student and various tools to improve the students understanding (Internet, software, cassette courses, and specific accent assistance exercises). With Specific software to create interactive exercises to increase skills in various employment sectors. The course is tailored specifically to the needs of business professionals. You will learn how to communicate in real-life business situations using the idioms, expressions, and contextual definitions of the English-based global marketplace. Courses are adapted to individual needs and includes the vocabulary of the workplace, such as in: customer services, banking, sales, law, communications, etc. We offer a wide range of different programs for small groups. Also flexibility in scheduling, location and course content.
ENGLISH COACHING
Focus given to the Professional whose career goals include the improvement of English skills. With individual coaching, individual challenges are studied and corrected. Concentrating on the business objective with special emphasis the ever-changing english business vocabulary. Coaching can be conducted in office environment or at business meetings or conferences. These language courses are intended for administrators and employees who wish to rapidly improve the level of their English.
Coaching is tailored specifically to the immediate needs of business professionals. You will learn how to communicate in real-life business situations using the idioms, expressions, phrasal verbs, and contextual definitions of the English-based global marketplace. Topics cover the stock market, corporate finance, IPOs, global marketing, and much more. With insights on preparing for presentations, assisting with email and conference planning.
Hands-on English has numerous complementary methods and materials to meet the needs of professionals working in various fields: accounting, import-export ,marketing, banking, finance, publicity, engineering, tourism, hospitality, food services, etc.
With working vacations, english coaching and individual/ group courses. Flexibility with emphasis on the individual needs of student are vital to the improvement of English.
